How to Spot Counterfeit Antivirus Offers

• Prices that are dramatically lower than the publisher's standard or promotional pricing.
• Requests for payment by wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards or remote-access tools.
• License keys delivered as plain text from unverified email addresses.
• Pop-ups or phone calls claiming "your computer is infected" and demanding immediate payment.
• Sellers that refuse to provide an invoice or a recognizable billing descriptor.

If you believe you were sold a counterfeit subscription — whether through AV-Assist.online or anywhere else using our name — stop using the suspected software, do not share any further payment information, and contact your card issuer about a chargeback.

Report a Suspicious Offer

Email abuse@av-assist.online with the website, ad, email or phone number involved, any invoice or receipt, and a description of what was offered. Reports are reviewed confidentially and may be shared with the affected publisher and relevant authorities.
